E-Giving
Shenandoah Baptist Church now provides a way to give to the church online
through E-Giving. You will find the link on the menu to the left.
For all of the online users that are blessed by the many links, online sermons
and other resources on our web site, you now have an easy way to support the
work of the Lord through giving to Shenandoah. Follow the link and setup
your secure online E-Giving account.
Sunday Evenings Sermon Series
Beginning on February 7th at 6:00 p.m., the church will enjoy a ten-week
series by Dr. David Jeremiah on the Book of Revelation. This series
presents many aspects of our world as it is today and as it directly relates to
the nations that are in the Bible. You will be greatly helped by this
series. Then beginning also at this time, will be a video series on
biblical concepts of finances. This series, by Larry Burkett, is extremely
informative in how to build a financial future. It will be an enormous
help! A signup sheet is in the vestibule for this class. Thirdly, our youth will enjoy a series by Jerry Snow and Richard Toy
on apologetics. This course will inform our youth of the challenges that
they face in our world at this time. Please pray for these series as they
will be presented at our church and that many will be helped through them and
the Christ will be honored.
Spaghetti Lunch
The youth and their parents will be serving
a spaghetti lunch on Sunday, February 21st following the morning service to help
raise money for the youth going to The Wilds this summer. The cost for the camp
is significant, but so are the eternal benefits that come from attending.
Plan on staying, enjoying a delicious meal and supporting our youth. The cost is
$6 per plate and 100% goes toward sending our youth to camp. If you cannot
attend you can still donate toward this worthy cause.
Ladies' Auxiliary
The Ladies' auxiliary meeting was rescheduled from February 2nd to February
9th.
Building Fund for Family Life Center
Please continue to pray and give toward our new Family Life Center building
fund.
Piano Lessons Available
If any children are interested in learning to play the piano, we have a
qualified piano teacher that comes to the church on Fridays. The cost is
minimal for the benefit gained. Please see Richard Collins for
information.
