Sunday Worship Service - Sunday morning, 11:00 am
The morning worship service consists of Christ-honoring music and preaching from the Gospel.

Children's Church
During the Sunday morning service, there is a children's church conducted for 4 and 5 year olds, and one for 2 and 3 year olds.  Both are staffed by capable and faithful workers who work diligently to teach these young ones about our Savior.

Music
In addition to the church choir, the church has numerous soloists and singing groups for children and adults.  There is an orchestra consisting of flute, clarinet, trumpet, saxophone and trombone that plays during the Sunday morning services.  These singers and musicians provide Christ-honoring music as a part of the church's worship.  If you like music, you will love Shenandoah!

Treasure Clubs for Kids - Wednesday, 7:00 pm
Treasure Clubs is a youth program unique to Shenandoah Baptist Church.  Combined with curriculum from Kids-4-Truth, the program provides our youth with excellent opportunities to learn the truths of God's Word while cultivating a life long relationship to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Meeting weekly on Wednesday nights, Treasure Clubs is for young people from the age of 3-6th grade and also includes game time, bible memorization and music.  Matthew 6:21 - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Teen Program - Wednesday, 7:00 pm
Our teen program is Bible-based and unique to Shenandoah Baptist Church.  Each Wednesday night, teens enjoy an informative Bible lesson that instructs them in God's Word and includes a time of recreation and fellowship.  The teens are divided into junior and senior teens during the lesson time so that more age based subjects can be taught.

Prayer Meeting and Bible Study - Wednesday, 7:30 pm
This worship service consists of a time of prayer requests, prayer, missionary newsletters and a time of serious and in-depth Bible study.

Senior's Supper
The seniors meet on the third Thursday of each month for a great time of food, fellowship and a short program that is many times a special music group from the church or local community.

Senior's Trips
The seniors take many nice day trips throughout the year.  They also have some trips that may be several days in length.  When a trip is scheduled, a signup sheet will be available in the vestibule listing the details and any costs.

Special Family Life Studies
There are special family life study classes offered at various times during the year.  These classes usually meet once a week for several weeks.  Some of the classes offered in the past have been 'Financial Planning', 'Teacher Training', 'Apologetics' and 'How to Share Your Faith'.  Check the announcements listing for upcoming offerings and signup early since there is usually limited availability.

Sports Camps
There is a week during the summer that the youth can participate in a soccer sports camp.  Volleyball will also be offered if there is enough interest.  This camp includes instruction in the fundamentals of the sport, teaching of God's Word and a nutritious lunch.

Vacation Bible School
There is a week during the summer that the youth can attend vacation bible school.  This includes fun and games, snacks, teaching from the Bible, music and puppets.

Ladies' Auxiliary / Men's Fellowship
The ladies and men of the church meet often for the enjoyment and exercise of Christian duties and privileges.  A warm, receptive spirit prevails in these groups.

Movie Night
The women of the church are invited to a special movie night once a month just to fellowship, relax and enjoy a movie and refreshments.

Golf Outings
During the summer, golf outings are usually scheduled once a month.  A signup sheet is available in the vestibule with the location.  Sometimes the group will stop for a breakfast before arriving at the golf course.  Most of the outings are to local golf courses but sometimes outings are scheduled at other courses such as Myrtle Beach.

Teen Outings
There at several outings for our teens throughout the year that include such trips as Kings Dominion, a local college football game or minor league baseball game.

Youth Trip to The Wilds Christian Camp
The youth have an opportunity to go to The Wilds Christian Camp in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina during the summer from Monday through Saturday.  A registration form must be completed and there is a cost for this trip.

Carolina Youth Blast
Shenandoah Baptist Church is one of the main sponsors of this annual event for teenagers from all across Eastern North Carolina.  This is an all day event in the fall that includes special preaching, music, games and a delicious meal for lunch.  Check the Carolina Youth Blast web site for more information.

Missionaries
Shenandoah Baptist Church supports many missionaries on the foreign field and here in the United States.  You can visit our Missionaries page for more information.

Shenandoah Baptist Church Web Site and Blog
Shenandoah Baptist Church has a web site and blog used to communicate information about the church including past and upcoming events.  This ministry provides information for visitors and newcomers to the area that are looking for a Bible-believing and preaching church.  It also provides a way for those that are sick or vacationing to listen to Sunday morning and evening sermons from our online Sermons page.
